A Quick Hello

Greetings from our Baby Bear...

~6 days new~

Zach's Mom and I rigged up a little newborn photo session yesterday; can't wait to share the rest of the pictures with you guys! It was an adventure...would you believe this sweet face was peeing all over his sheepskin rug while this picture was being taken? Our washer hasn't stopped running since we got home on Tuesday. Complaining aside, he's worth every last load.

Can't wait to share his birth story on here, too. Everything went really well; actually the recovery process has proved to be the toughest part for this Momma. Things are getting easier every day though, and we are loving this precious time with our little man.

I have MISSED you ladies! Gonna try my best to catch up on your blogs when I'm not catching up on some sleep. Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving.

Bear is officially one week old today...pictures/update coming tomorrow!

  1. Congratulations on your adorable baby bear. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. This one is too cute! Excited to hear how your birth story went also. I plan on posting mine soon. You're right, recovery is tough stuff. I wish we could just snuggle and care for Our baby boys without having to battle our bodies. Hope your recovery goes well.

  2. I love this picture! SO glad you decided to do his newborn pictures yourself. I saved this one on my phone to show my mom and dad yesterday. And yes, I definitely believe that he peed on his rug, he has Zach Fullwood in him for crying out loud! : ) I miss talking to you and am ready to talk! He's already a week!? That was a fast week! Probably not for you. Can't wait to read his birth story!

  5. Ahhh, Brittany!! He is so so precious - that little hat and those bottoms - adorable!! I hope your recovery leaves you feeling better and better each day! Little boys have the funniest pee stories - when they brought my brother home from the hospital and changed his diaper, he peed in my eye! Lol! I wasn't standing in the best spot! ;)
I can not wait to read his birth story. I'm sure it is beautiful and will feel so wonderful to write! Sending lots of love to you, Zach and your sweet little boy! Xoxoxox

  9. This is too cute!!! I love it :) Poor rug ;) I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures, and I can't wait to hear the birth story. I love reading them, I don't know why but it just makes me so emotional seeing other women's stories, and looking forward to one day being able to share mine as well. I miss blogging! For now I am just visiting a few I have followed forever. You were the first blog I stated to follow in this journey and you've always followed mine, which I totally appreciate! I have been MIA lately because I just don't have a lot of time to cook, take photos, and share stuff. Being in school has taken over my life! I am glad I can still see your amazing updates though!
