Momma or Daddy?

Hi, y'all!
Still here, still very pregnant. Tomorrow is Tiny's due date and he doesn't seem to have any plans of coming early...he's stubborn like his Daddy! We have an induction scheduled for next Tuesday, November 20th, but are hoping Little Man will decide to come on his own before then. I'm walking like crazy but have walked 3-4 miles almost every day this entire pregnancy, so not sure walking will help get things going. Any tips on getting Baby down and out?

Last night I was looking through baby pictures of Z and started seeing a resemblance to Tiny's ultrasound photos....what do you guys think?

Or Momma, perhaps?
(Zach says I look like an alien in this picture, so I'm hoping there are no similarities)

Guess we'll know soon enough! I just can't wait to hold our Little Man. Carrying him around for nine months has been incredible but finally holding him in my arms will be the best feeling in the world.

Some of Z's family are on their way down to Houston now; things are starting to get exciting around these parts! Just playing the waiting game and praying for a healthy baby boy.

Happy weekend, ladies!

  1. When I had my little boy 2 years ago he was due on Thanksgiving Day. I went to the Dr 2 days before and the doctor said it didn't look like he was coming anytime soon so we scheduled me for an induction the Monday after Thanksgiving. I went into labor on my own 2am Friday morning. What did it for me? I can only guess it was all the work I put into making Thanksgiving dinner, or maybe it was eating Thanksgiving dinner, lol. Anyway, I've heard eating fresh pineapple (not canned pineapple) can get contractions going, because of one of the chemicals found in Pineapple. I don't know how true it is, but I don't seem much harm in eating a bunch of tasty pineapple.

  5. awww, I love the baby photos!!! I DO see a resemblance with Zach and Tiny and I also see one with you! LOL @ Zach calling you an alien. You do NOT look like an alien. You're wayyy cuter than an alien...your little dress is so sweet...I used to rock the bib collars too. And the sweet ruffled socks! I was a scary baby...I looked like ET and more than one person said it. Hahaha! I plan on posting pics sometime.
I hear that pedicures help...or maybe it's just that it's the one thing that makes me worry I would go into labor early (so I won't get one until I'm full-term...I know, silly). My friend and I went for pedicures a couple summers ago bc she really wanted to go into labor. She told the woman and the woman said she'd do her best to hit the pressure points. My friend went into labor that night!! :)
Happy almost due date day!!! I will be thinking about you and sending lots of love and prayers your way, beautiful mama!

  7. Hahaha the alien comment made me laugh out loud!! If Tiny looks like you he'll be the most gorgeous baby boy! Serious!

Hope he comes out on his own too. I have a feeling he will because I'm sure he is impatient to meet his gorgeous mama!

    Have a great weekend!!

  9. Is your doctor wanting to induce so he/she doesn't have to work on the holiday? Average first babies come at 41 weeks, so he will come when he is good and ready. I am betting he is really enjoying the delicious desserts you make, and doesn't want to leave them ;).

  11. Hi Britt, strong, tough mamma. I guessed the baby's arrival date as November 19th which was yesterday. I am not sure if he is finally in your arms now, but I am guessing so, since today is Nov 20th. No matter what, I wish both Mommy & Baby (plus Daddy too), a Healthy, Smooth & Happy Ride!!

I just had an ultra-sound today, between week 29th and 30th. I am so excited. In another ten weeks or so, I will get to hold and love a baby in my arms. =)

    Stay Healthy. <3 Ada.
