Yesterday Bear and I took a mini road trip to College Station to see my sweet friend Elissa and Zach's sister, Katy. Katy's boyfriend, Caleb, watched Bear while we got our nails done and we had such a great time visiting, eating at McAllister's, and telling old stories. Time with the girls is always the best!
Elissa spoiled Bear with some goodies, including the cutest football knee-pads, designed just for crawling. Perfect for our little mover & shaker!
First time getting my nails done since 3 days before Bear was born (almost 7 months ago)...such a much-awaited treat!

The day flew by and we can't wait to head back to College Station and see E, Katy, and Caleb again. Luckily we have season tickets to see the Aggies play this fall and will be seeing lots of everyone soon!

Yay for girl time, your right, that is most def. the best! You guys look amazing! It's funny you remember that you got your nails done 3 days before he was born, with both my girls I made sure I made a trip to the nail salon right before I had them!

That sounds (and looks) like the perfect girls' day!! I LOVE your manicure!! and how sweet that katy's boyfriend "bear-sat!" :) she has herself a good man! Mr. Bear is all smiles...makes me smile!
