These are unbelievable. Out of this world. Totally worth every last calorie. Zach agrees too. It's just something about the way the Snickers carmelize during the baking process and get all gooey yet sort of crispy at the same time. Plus, they are simple. I love simple. In fact, it should be my middle name. Brittany Simple Fullwood. I'll take it.
Ingredients
(preheat oven to 350) cream butter and brown sugar for 1-2 minutes, until it is light and fluffy
add the egg and vanilla...then flour, baking powder, and salt
cut Snickers in half
toss 'em in and stir
spread the batter in a 8×8 inch pan that has been lined with tin foil or parchment paper
bake in oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean...sprinkle with powder sugar
Ingredients:1/2 cup room temperature butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 bag mini Snickers, cut in half
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cream butter and brown sugar for 1-2 minutes, until it is light and fluffy.
3. Add the egg and vanilla.
4. Slowly mix in flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Fold in Snickers pieces.
6. Add the batter to an 8×8 inch pan that has been lined with tin foil or parchment paper. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
7. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Using the overhanging foil or parchment paper, transfer to cutting board and cut into 16 bars.
