DIY Houseguest Treats

Last week, Zach's family was nearly to Houston when it hit me....there are no surprises/treats/welcome gifts in the guest bedrooms. This is a major problem, you see, because I am alllllllllll about surprises. I blame it on my Dad; growing up, I don't think a day went by that he didn't surprise one or all of us with candy, a card, or some little make-you-smile something. (you set the bar high, Dad...Zach thanks you)

"Mom, why are you photographing suckers when there's a much cuter subject in the background?"

The tags were simple to make; email me at bmercer5642@gmail.com if you'd like the printable or whip up your own cute creation. You're sure to make any guest feel extra special!

How do you welcome guests in your home? Would love to hear your ideas!

  3. ohmygosh, you're so cute and thoughtful! lollipops waiting for them on the bed...i love it. we usually have a cat or three waiting on our guests bed. lol. so sweet your dad always had a surprise for you. that's how my mom is/was...we are always giving each other little treats when we see one another. it truly brightens the persons day when you do little things...it makes a big difference. :)
i was thinking of having little easter treats for our hospital guests (if little miss decides to come before easter). i know they'd be tempting me while i was in labor and unable to eat them. haha.
have a sweet one, pretty mama!

  4. That is such a great idea Britt. And Hahhaa I love the comment 'Bear is saying'. He is much much cuter than those suckers. By the way, I know he turned 4 months old on the 18th so Happy 4 Month Handsome Bear! Vivian turned 2 months old yesterday and by the way I have filled my blog with photos of hers. =)

I have enjoyed all your late posts and pictures with all the family fun and visits. I feel the same way about my family every day - Blessed!!
