Baby Shower Details

Last weekend we celebrated Baby Grace's soon-to-be arrival with a pink & green elephant themed shower...

invitations from zazzle.com

One of the hostesses, Lenah, had these adorable elephant cookies made...seriously the cutest cookies ever. Yummy, too!

Each guest was given a favor, iced animal cookies aka "elephants & friends".

lime sherbet+Sprite=delicious, festive punch

I made three diaper cakes to serve as centerpieces on the tables...we simply set them on cake stands and wrapped pink tulle underneath.

Planning baby showers is so much fun! One of my really good friends is getting married this summer and shower/bachelorette party plans are in the works...any ideas for a cute theme? She is an amazing person and deserves a fabulous celebration. Would love to hear your ideas, and thank you in advance! :)

  6. Wow! Such a cute baby shower. I just love baby showers and it's so special when the hostess add so many cute touches to make Mama feel great. Good job!

I'm MOH for my brother's soon to be wife and I'm trying to plan a fun bachelorette party. She's not a crazy party type so we might go to a local winery and make a day out of it. If your friend is the party type, the best bachelorette party I've been to was one of those 3 day cruises (so cheap) and each day we dressed up to a different theme. So fun!

  7. Brittany, the baby shower is so so cute!!! I LOVE table display with the tree and hanging elephants. Those cookies are so sweet (and I'm sure, taste amazing)!! You did a fabulous job with everything...love the combination of pink and green together!! Your diaper cakes are awesome...you are so talented and have such an eye for making things pretty!! I'm sure your friend was blown away by all the love her friends put into that day!!
I'm not the best when it comes to ideas for things like this...I've seen some adorable bridal showers/bachelorette parties...I just saw a "Mad Hatter" themed one and it was soo stinkin' cute and fun...everyone had a neat hat, decks of cards were used, lots of black and white and bright colors. My friends threw me my shower at a creamery/farm (bc I love ice cream so much) and had lots og gingham and mason jars and wildflowers. Um, hmm, I'm trying to think of more. If I do, I will definitely let you know. :) Sounds like you have a very fun summer ahead!! Hope your day is off to a beautiful start! Xoxox
